Bakeware manufacture and coatings company snapped up by US counterpart

A business which specialises in the design, manufacture and coating of industrial bakeware has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by its US counterpart.

Bundy Baking Solutions has acquired the FBS Prestige division of Fluorocarbon Ltd which includes three coating facilities in Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester, as well a coating facility and pan manufacturing site located in Romania.

Bundy Baking Solutions pledges to make “significant investments” in both the manufacturing and coating operations.

Chief executive Gilbert Bundy says: “We are very excited to combine the innovation and market knowledge of American Pan and FBS Prestige.

“The result is the optimisation of two industry leading companies and the ability to provide responsive and comprehensive pan and coating services available throughout Europe and the MENA region.”

The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
