Cumberland County sentencing list for October 3

The following people were sentenced on Oct. 3 in Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas. All sentences include costs and run concurrently with other sentences unless otherwise specified. Probation is unsupervised unless indicated otherwise. Driving under the influence (DUI) offenses generate different mandatory-minimum sentences based on an offender’s prior convictions in the past 10 years.

Sentenced to State Correctional Institute

Mechanicsburg

• Santi Thiphavong: Two to 5 years and $10,000 fine for DUI, highest rate; 1 to 5 years and $2,500 fine for driving while under suspension-DUI-related. (Ebert)

• James Graden Folk: Three to 10 years and $300 fine for aggravated assault; 1 to 3 years and $200 fine for aggravated harassment by prisoner. (Brewbaker)

• Quasim Jaquil Presley: One and one-half to 3 years and $500 fine for unlawful delivery, manufacture, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance-Heroin. (Brewbaker)

Sentenced to Cumberland County Prison

• Joseph Lee Frey Jr.: Five days to 6 months, $300 fine and 24 hours of community service for DUI, second offense. (Placey)

• Robert Dee Stranacher: Fifteen days to 23-1/2 months and $2,500 fine for recklessly endangering another person. (Guido)

• Jeremy Brian Fish: Six to 12 months for unlawful possession of Schedule I controlled substance-Heroin. (Guido)

• Cody James Kopenhaver: Nineteen days to 12 months for theft by unlawful taking or disposition. (Ebert)

• Ashleigh Morgan Mcalpine: Five days to 6 months and $300 fine for DUI, second offense. (Placey)

• Matthew Allen Porter: Six to 12 months and $300 fine for intimidation of Witnesses or Victims; 12 months’ probation and $200 fine for stalking, consecutive. (Brewbaker)

• Joshua Elijah Edward Slavin: Three days to 6 months and $1,000 fine for DUI; $25 fine for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. (Ebert)

• Vincent Mack Yarnell: Five days to 6 months and $300 fine for DUI, second offense; $25 fine for careless driving. (Ebert)

• Joshua Michael Culley: Six to 18 months, $500 fine and restitution of $440 for unlawful delivery, manufacture, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance-Marijuana; 11-1/2 to 23 months and $300 fine for criminal use of communication facility; $100 fine for unlawful possession of small amount of marijuana. • Nathaniel Eugene Hawbaker: Ninety days to 5 years and $1,500 fine for DUI, second offense. (Guido)

• Matthew Jose Roque: Nine to 23 months, $500 fine and restitution of $230 for unlawful delivery, manufacture, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance-Marijuana. (Brewbaker)

Mount Holly Springs

• David Brian Morrison: Six to 16 months and restitutions of $1,000 and $3,082 for criminal conspiracy to burglary-not adapted for overnight accommodation-no person present. (Guido)

• David Brian Morrison: Three days to 6 months and $1,000 fine for DUI. (Guido)

• Branden O’Shae Scott: Fourteen days to 6 months and $100 fine for harassment. (Brewbaker)

New Cumberland

• Terron Shadi Doswell: Three hundred sixty-four to 729 days and 24 hours of community service for unlawful restraint; 364 to 729 days for terroristic threats, consecutive; 364 to 729 days for robbery, consecutive. (Placey)

• Jennifer Lynn Popp: Ninety days to 730 days and $500 fine for DUI; 60 days and $500 fine for driving while under suspension-DUI-related; $300 fine for accident involving damage to unattended vehicle or property. (Placey)

• Morgan Lee Zigman: Thirty days to 6 months and $750 fine for DUI, second offense; $25 fine for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. (Brewbaker)

• Joshua Allen Thomas Jr.: Thirty days to 6 months and $750 fine for DUI, high rate, second offense. (Guido)

• John Emory Caldwell: Ten to 23 months and $100 fine for unlawful delivery, manufacture, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance-Marijuana; 10 to 23 months for unlawful delivery, manufacture, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I controlled substance-Marijuana. • Randy Alan Garrison: Ninety days to 3 years and $1,500 fine for DUI, second offense; $25 fine for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. (Ebert)

• Emmanuel David Clark: Two days to 6 months and $500 fine for DUI; $25 fine for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. (Ebert)

• Matthew Paul Giunta: Five days to 6 months and $300 fine for DUI, second offense; 3 months’ probation and $100 fine for resisting arrest or other law enforcement. (Brewbaker)

• John Richard Waters Jr.: Three days and $300 fine for DUI. (Placey)

Sentenced to Probation

• Kristy Ann Taylor: A $200 fine for driving while under suspension; $500 fine, 6 months’ probation, and restitution of $1,281.47 for DUI. (Placey)
