A 42-year-old Wichita Falls man is now out of jail after posting $25,000 bond after police say they found 5 bags of meth in his car and 13-hundred dollars in 100, 20, and 10 dollar bills.
Michael Esquibel is charged with manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance over 4 grams. Police say they made a traffic stop in the 18-hundred block of grace yesterday and an officer saw a beer bottle in the center console and asked for consent to search the car. He said Esquibel declined so the officer brought his k-9 to the car and the dog alerted to narcotics.
Police say they found 5 bags, holding a total weight of more than 70 grams of meth in a box under the driver's seat. After the arrest of Esquibel, narcotics agents made a search of Esquibel's residence on Madiliz, between Rathgeber road and Highway 79.
It is not known if anything was seized in that search.
