Arlington Heights police: Chicago teenager charged with manufacture, delivery of cocaine in village

The following items were taken from Arlington Heights Police Department reports and press releases. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Burglary

Someone broke into Molecular Imaging, 1732 W. Algonquin Road, during the overnight hours on March 26 and removed an undisclosed amount of cash. The cost to repair the damage is unknown, police said.

Drugs

Janaiya Cail, 19, of the 8600 block of South Constance Avenue in Chicago, was arrested March 23 and charged with manufacture/delivery of cocaine and unlawful manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in the 1200 block of East Rand Road. Cail is due to appear in court April 24, police said.

DUI

Gonzalo Arellano-Ibarra, 34, of the 4200 block of Jennifer Lane in Arlington Heights, was arrested March 29, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and illegal lane use at Rand Road and Turtle Creek Lane. He was released on bond with a notice to appear in court April 16, police said.

James J. Bushell, 55, of the 1700 block of North Walnut Avenue in Arlington Heights, was arrested March 29 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1000 block of West Dundee Road. He was released on bond with a notice to appear in court May 16, police said.

Colton T. Browe, 25, of the 200 block of Davis Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested March 26, and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving on a suspended/revoked license, following too closely, improper lane use and speeding in the 300 block of South Arlington Heights Road. He was released on bond with a notice to appear in court May 16, police said.

Joshua A. Bishop, 32, of the 1900 block of West Algonquin Road in Mount Prospect, was arrested March 24, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of .17, speeding and illegal lane use in the 200 block of East Algonquin Road. He was released on bond with a notice to appear in court May 16, police said.

Jose Valdovinos, 41, of the 1300 block of North Vail Avenue in Arlington Heights, was arrested March 23, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage and disregarding a stop sign near the 1300 block of North Vail Avenue. He was released on bond with a notice to appear in court May 10, police said.

Property damage

The tire on a 2005 Mercury Mariner reportedly was damaged overnight March 24 while the car was parked in the 300 block of South Donald Avenue. The cost to repair the damage is estimated at $250, police said.

The rear window on a 2012 maroon Ford Escape reportedly was smashed overnight March 21 while the car was parked in the 1700 block North Drury Avenue, police said.

Theft

A pink Kate Spade wallet, valued at $75, containing credit cards, cash and a driver’s license, reportedly was stolen March 22 from an unlocked 2011 black Ford Fusion that was parked in the 1300 block of East Clarendon Road, police said.

Cash and clothing reportedly were stolen March 27 after being left unattended at XSport Fitness, 960 W. Dundee Road, police said.

A wallet, containing cash and a driver’s license, reportedly was stolen March 26 from a locked locker at XSport Fitness, 960 W. Dundee Road, police said.

A customer removed and concealed items, valued at $416, and left Walgreen’s, 235 E. Palatine Road, without paying for the items on March 26, police said. An investigation is ongoing, police said.

Scrap radiators and condensers reportedly were stolen March 25 from a yard at Arlington Collision, 407 N. Salem Ave. The value of the stolen items is unknown, police said.

A wallet, containing cash, credit cards, membership cards, a Social Security card and a driver’s license, was reportedly stolen March 25 from a shopping cart at Jewel, 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road, police said.

A red Tool Shop portable electric air compressor, valued at $160, reportedly was stolen March 23 from the alley to a home in the 1300 block of East Northwest Highway, police said.

A Nikon D-SLR D810 camera, valued at $3,700, reportedly was stolen from a home in the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road sometime between March 16 and March 19. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
