Sheboygan's Old World Creamery making butter soon| Streetwise

SHEBOYGAN - The Old World Creamery in Sheboygan will soon be making butter.

Currently a butter processing and packaging plant, they will be manufacturing butter before the year's end.

"The market support for our products has been overwhelming,” said company President Steve Knaus in a press release. “We have found a highly skilled dairy workforce here, and now, to ensure consistent high-quality butter products, we are pleased to soon begin manufacturing our butter right here in Sheboygan.”

The expansion into butter making is expected to create over two dozen jobs over a number of years.

Knaus opened Old World Creamery two years ago in the building that was formerly Dean's Dairy Plant in downtown Sheboygan. Over the last two years, they have become known for selling "Irish Butter," which is renowned across the country.

Old World Creamery is located at 1606 Erie Ave in Sheboygan and their products can be found in grocery stores throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
