Sixteen busted on drug charges, four still wanted in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Authorities in one Eastern Carolina county say they have arrested 16 people and are looking for four more in an operation that led to sizable cocaine seizures.

Martin County deputies and Williamston police made the arrests working together as the Martin County Narcotics Unit. The SBI also helped with the arrests.

Deputies say 26 ounces of cocaine, worth some $34,000 on the street, was seized during the operation.

In addition to the cocaine, heroin, illegal prescription pills and a half dozen guns were seized. Deputies say half of those guns turned out to be stolen.

Those arrested were:

• Willie Goddard, 35, of Greenville
Charge: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine. Bond: $25,000.00 secured

• John Faison, 26, of Robersonville
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, and sale or deliver controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school. Bond: $5,000.00 secured

• Fernando Smith, 43, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine (2 counts), maintaining a dwelling to keep or store controlled substances (2 counts), and conspire to sale or deliver cocaine. Bond: $10,000.00 secured

• Kemadrick Brown, 24, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine (4 counts), and maintaining a dwelling to keep or store controlled substances (4 counts). Bond: $25,300.00 secured

• Devonte Barnes, 26, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sale or Deliver Cocaine (4 counts) and Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sale or Deliver Controlled Substances Within 1000 Feet of a School (4 counts). Bond: $140,000.00 secured

• Quandaren Knight, 20, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver marijuana (4 counts) and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school (4 counts). Bond: $25,000.00 secured

• Kinyettea Boney, 18, of Williamston
Charges: Trafficking in opium and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school. Bond: $25,000.00 secured

• Akeba Archer, 40, of Williamston
Charges: Trafficking in opium (2 counts), possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school, maintaining a dwelling to keep or store controlled substances (4 counts) and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver schedule ii controlled substance. Bond: $25,000.00 secured

• Krista Archer, 51, of Williamston
Charges: Trafficking in Opium (2 counts), Maintaining a dwelling to keep or store controlled substances (2 counts), possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver schedule ii controlled substance (2 counts), and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver controlled substances within 1000 feet of a school (2 counts). Bond: $150,000.00 secured

• Deandre Coffield, 26, of Robersonville
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine (2 counts). Bond: $20,000.00 secured

• Jermaine Spruill, 26, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine (2 counts). Bond: $10,000.00 secured

• Ashley Hardison, 39, of Williamston
Charges: Conspire to sale or deliver cocaine. Bond: $5,000.00 secured

• Carlton Simpson, 33, of Durham
Charges: Conspire to traffic in cocaine (greater than 400 grams) (2 counts). Bond: $500,000.00 secured

• Albert Purvis, Jr., 29, of Williamston
Charges: Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possess stolen firearm, and federal parole violation. Bond: $500,000.00 secured

• Jabir El-Amin, 34, of Greenville
Charges: Trafficking in cocaine (2 counts). Bond: $100,000.00 secured

• Keithan Brown, 32, of Greenville
Charges: Trafficking in cocaine (2 counts). Bond: $100,000.00 secured

The following people are wanted by the Martin County Narcotics Unit:

• Jerome Horton. 27, of Jamesville
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver heroin (2 counts)

• Onika Johnson, 48, of Roper.
Charges: Trafficking in opium (2 counts) and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver schedule ii controlled substance (2 counts)

• Kelly Snell, 30, of Plymouth
Charges: Trafficking in heroin (2 counts), and possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver heroin

• Donald Smallwood, 31, of Williamston
Charges: Possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver cocaine and conspire to sale or deliver cocaine
