A multi-county effort netted a suspected child predator in Muskegon.
Michigan State Police said a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led troopers to serve a search warrant at home in Muskegon Township on Thursday.
Troopers seized and examined items from the home. Gary Allen, 45, of Muskegon, was at work when he was arrested.
Allen was arraigned on one count of producing child sexually abusive material and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.
MSP detectives made contact with a suspect in Oscoda Township said to be in contact with Allen. It is unclear if the Oscoda suspect was arrested.
Police said child pornography was being shared.
MSP Rockford Post identified two victims from West Michigan.
