GRAYSLAKE, IL — In an agreement with the Village of Grayslake, owners of the soon relocating Mundelein-based manufacturer Sheet Metal Supply Ltd. will be reimbursed up to $175,000 in sales taxes over 10 years, the Daily Herald reported, according to Assistant Village Manager Brett Kryska said. The company is relocating to a former distribution center at 150 Pines Drive, just north of downtown Grayslake, and plans to renovate the building and move in my the middle of next month, according to the news report. Kryska said the Pines Drive building was most recently used as a distribution facility, adding that it didn't bring in any sales tax revenue, according to the Daily Herald.
Sheet Metal Supply Ltd. President Phillip Kweton said their 30,000-square-foot location in Mundelein — where the company was based for 8 years — was too small.
