Fort 4 Fitness Spring Cycle still on with some changes - Fort Wayne's NBC

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The 9th Annual Fort 4 Fitness Spring Cycle will still be held, but in a different way than usual.

Last year, there were close to 1200 participants logging miles in the cycling event. This year, registration is underway. This will be a virtual event to encourage people to get out and be active while also staying away from large groups of riding. You can even participate from a home trainer if you have one. May 16th - May 30th are the riding dates that count to ensure there's nice weather. For your entry fee, a portion will go toward a COVID-19 relief fund.

Executive Director of Fort 4 Fitness, Satin Lemon says, "For the next month, it's open online, and it's $20. $5 of every registration is going to go to a COVID-related charity, and then you also get a T-shirt that we'll mail out to you. It's not a come pick it up, we're going to mail it out because that's also safest for everybody."

You can go here and click "Get Registered" for the Virtual Spring Cycle on the top right of the homepage to sign up. For those competitive riders, times and mileage for people who share that information will be posted on the website during the event.
