PITTSBURGH – A project out of the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Institute has borne a new method of essentially stiffening garments via a water-soluble thermoplastic polymer laminate that it’s believed will make it easier for robots and other automated sewing systems to handle fabric.
