Two industrial buildings are planned for Silver Spring Township.
Filson Rental Properties plans to build two 12,000-square-foot industrial facilities at 44 E. Main St.
Silver Spring Township-based Filson Rental Properties presented the land development plan on Thursday night in front of the Silver Spring Township Planning Commission. The developer also requested to subdivide the existing lot into two lots separated by Dauphin Drive.
The planning commission unanimously recommended the subdivision and land development plan to the Silver Spring Township supervisors, who will have the final say on the approvals.
One building will be used by Schmuck Metal Fabricator to manufacture manifolds for high performance cars and Tulpehocken Water/Filson Water will use the other building to manufacture and service water purifying equipment.
