OPERATION VICTORY LAP: New Bern woman held on $1 million bond - WITN

PAMLICO COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A New Bern woman is one of 18 people charged as a result of an undercover drug operation in Pamlico County.

Arrests in ‘Operation Victory Lap’ started on November 3rd with a traffic stop on Highway 55 in Reelsboro.

Pamlico County deputies say the three-month investigation targeted the illegal sale of narcotics.

The driver of the car, 25-year-old Jessica Aldrian, was charged with trafficking in opioid by possession, trafficking in opioid by manufacture, trafficking in opioid by transport, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (oxycodone hydrochloride), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule III controlled substance (buprenorphine), possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule IV controlled substance (alprazolam) possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, and maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance.

Aldrian was placed in jail on a $1,000,000 secured bond.

Also arrested on that day were Abdullah Almuwallad, and Michael Tripp, both from Grantsboro.

Almuwallad’s home was raided and a gun and meth were found, according to deputies.

Almuwallad was charged with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), sell Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), deliver Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tripp faces possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies said additional people were arrested on November 15th. One such person was Standell “Lucky” Moore, who was jailed on a $1 million bond for trafficking in opioid by possession, trafficking in opioid by sale, trafficking in opioid by delivery, and drug paraphernalia not for marijuana.

Christopher Peterson was jailed on a $500,000 secured bond for trafficking in opioid by transport, conspiring to sell opioids, and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.

Raunel Midgette, whose bond information was unavailable, was charged with conspiring to sell a Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Heather Armstrong faces charged of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), selling a Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), delivering a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine), and drug paraphernalia not for marijuana.

Blayne Thomas has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II substance (fentanyl), sell a schedule II substance (fentanyl), and delivering a schedule II substance (fentanyl).

Zachary Scott faces charges of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce, two counts of maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia not for marijuana.

Troy Swindell Sr. has been charged with maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Robert Johnson faces charges of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), sell a Schedule II controlled substance, and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.

David Murrell Sr. has been charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (crack cocaine).

Jaquan Gibbs has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, selling marijuana, and delivering marijuana.

Paris Atkins Sr. has been charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), selling a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), and delivering a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine).

Caleb Daniels faces charges of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, selling marijuana, delivering marijuana, and maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.

Christopher Taylor has been charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia not for marijuana.

Keith Gilliam was also arrested for two counts of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), two counts of selling a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), two counts of delivering a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), and felony maintaining a dwelling.

Finally, Joseph Conover was charged with felony secret peeping.
