Pittsburgh-based companies leading the way in innovation, automation or advanced manufacturing can show off their work at the Pittsburgh Robotics Network’s Discovery Day 2023 in November.

Exhibit requests are being considered through Friday, Oct. 20. It is free to showcase your developments at Discovery Day, and “you are highly encouraged to bring live robotics, automation or other types of demonstrations or product examples to show off your modern manufacturing excellence,” according to a release by the Pittsburgh Robotics Network.

More than 4,500 people and more than 85 exhibitors attended the 2022 Discovery Day. 

The 2023 event will expand to include more demonstrations and an additional 42,000 square feet of exhibitor space.

This year’s event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

There are more than 100 robotics businesses currently operating in Western Pennsylvania.

“Pittsburgh Robotics Discovery Day is more than just an event; it’s an interactive opportunity for attendees to engage with the trailblazers in robotics and AI, discover how these technologies are shaping our everyday lives and discover ways they can be a part of building our future,” says Jenn Apicella, interim executive director of the Pittsburgh Robotics Network.

Pittsburgh Robotics Discovery Day is an initiative led by the Pittsburgh Robotics Network in partnership with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission and the Allegheny Conference on Community Development.
