EUGENE, Ore. — A man has been arrested on drug-related charges following an investigation by Eugene Police Department's Street Crimes Unit.
According to EPD, officers conducted a narcotics investigation and subsequently applied for a search warrant for a vehicle and motorhome belonging to 55-year-old Mark Everett Foglesong.
The investigation and subsequent search on Feb. 7 yielded more than $5,000, approximately 167 grams of suspected fentanyl powder, 180 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 69 grams of suspected fentanyl M30 pills, digital scales, and a rifle, police said.
Foglesong was lodged at the Lane County Jail for Possess/Manufacture Deliver Controlled Substance - Commercial Drug Offense.
According to Eugene PD, "experts consider 2 mg of fentanyl (visualize 10 to15 grains of table salt) to be lethal, but many counterfeit pills contain up to 5 mg (more than twice the lethal dose). This amount is incredibly small. One gram is equal to 1,000 milligrams."
