Eugene police arrest Springfield man on meth manufacture charges - KEZI TV

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A man is facing charges of manufacturing and dealing methamphetamine out of his trailer shop business in Springfield after a search warrant turned up drugs and paraphernalia, Eugene police said.

According to Eugene Police Department, their Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant at Wheeless Trailer Sales at 3560 Main Street in Springfield at about 5:30 p.m. on March 26. Police said they had been investigating a long-time employee, Grant Wayne Wheeless, 51, who they said lives on the property in an attached apartment.

Eugene police said the search turned up more than 3.4 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, more than $11,000 in cash, five digital scales with crystal residue on the weighing surface, various plastic baggies, and a stolen rifle. Police said Wheeless was charged with manufacture, delivery and possession of meth and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
