ULSTER – A Pennsylvania man was charged with unlawfully making methamphetamine after he was reported to have passed out in his car on Saturday in the Town of Ulster.
Town police said patrol officers responded to a location on Ulster Avenue to check on the man’s welfare just before 11 p.m. Saturday. They found Brian N. Lazor, 35, of Wood, Pa., passed out in the car. They also found a portable methamphetamine lab in the vehicle and took Lazor into custody.
Lazor was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, both misdemeanors; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Lazor was arraigned in Town of Ulster Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, pending further court action.
