BISMARCK, ND (Valley News Live) The initial deadline to submit proposals to manufacture medical marijuana in North Dakota was April 20, but extending the deadline to Monday allowed two more applicants to submit.
The North Dakota Department of Health will now review all 19 applications, as will a seven-member panel made up of health experts, citizens, law enforcement and a state lawyer.
The state will register two manufacturers.
