Desoky added that a feasibility study is underway to manufacture some parts of the nuclear reactors in Egypt, pointing out that the domestic manufacturing of nuclear energy will be expanded to reach 35 percent upon receiving the four reactors in 2029.
The Nuclear Suppliers' Forum will be held in Cairo on October 8 and 9 as part of the International Industrial and Technological Exhibition and Forum "The Big Industrial Week", in cooperation between the Rosatom Foundation and the Egyptian Nuclear Energy Authority (NPPA).
