Iberville Sheriff arrests 15 after yearlong drug investigation - Post South

Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics agents secured arrest warrants for alleged drug violators stemming from a year-long undercover investigation.

With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Task Force, West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, Plaquemine Police Department and Maringouin Police Department, the sheriff's office hit the streets in the early hours of Feb. 15 to execute the warrants.

“I want to thank our narcotic agents that worked so diligently on this investigation,” Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said. “We stand committed to fighting the war on illegal drug use and distribution. I also want to thank our law enforcement partners for their assistance.”

The arrests, from Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office records, were:

• Kerry Paul Blanchard, 35, possession of cocaine (less than 28 grams). Bond was set at $5,000.
• Alex Dorsey Jr., 23, distribution of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $30,000.
• Keith Dupree, 57, distribution/manufacture of crack cocaine (felony) Bond was set at $30,000.
• Abdul Henderson, distribution of crack cocaine
• John Hoover, 44, distribution of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $30,000,
• Alvin Jackson, 31, distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of marijuana; bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $48,000
• Keithon Jordon, 32, distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl Bond was set at $80,000.
• Will Kees , 49, distribution of methamphetamines, Illegal carrying of weapons, criminal trespassing, simple burglary. Bond was set at $43,000.
• Charles Kelly, 63, four counts of distribution and manufacture of crack cocaine, along with a bench warrant. Bond was set at $121,500
• Tyrone Lawless, 54, distribution/manufacture of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $30,000.
• LeKevin Mitchell, 22, distribution/manufacture of crack cocaine
• Kemp Jeroid Oubre Jr., 30, distribution/manufacture of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $30,000.
• Catina Lynette Smith, 44, distribution/manufacture of crack cocaine, bench warrant, failure to appear in court. Total bond was set at $272,000.
• Aljerard Warner, 32, distribution of methamphetamines. Bond was set at $30,000.
• Eleanor Williams, 58, Distribution/manufacturing of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $30,000.

Those still wanted are:

• Steven Carter, distribution of crack cocaine (two counts).
• Sydney Cole, possession of crack cocaine.
• Joshua Gordon, distribution of crystal meth
• Tres Jordan, distribution of cocaine, distribution of marijuana.
• Carl Paul, distribution of crack cocaine.
• Eleanor Williams, distribution of crack cocaine.
• Devin Wilson, principal to distribution of crack cocaine.
