At least three people were injured Tuesday morning in an explosion at a manufacturing facility in Waynesboro, Penn., near the state's southern border with Maryland.
The explosion happened at an address that corresponds to a plant owned by Johnson Controls, an industrial conglomerate that makes HVAC and security systems for buildings.
It is not clear what caused the explosion. The coroner has not been called to the scene, according to WGAL.
Video posted to Facebook showed a large emergency response at the scene.
Newsweek has reached out to local law enforcement and fire officials and was told an update would be provided to the media later in the day.
In a statement, Johnson Controls said it was "actively assessing the situation and working with local response teams. We will provide more information as appropriate as we learn more."
