An Aurora man was arrested for unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance and other charges following a domestic disturbance on Wednesday.
According to the Aurora Police Department, officers responded to an apartment in the 2000 blk. of Fox Pointe Dr. at around 2:00 p.m. to investigate.
Upon arrival, 22-year-old Antuan Walls of Sedgegrass Tr. in Aurora was seen smoking a joint.
When officers entered the apartment, they saw narcotics in plain view.
After securing a search warrant, officers seized 49.64 grams of crack, a .45 caliber handgun and $1,609.
An investigation tied the contraband to Walls. Officers arrested Walls for unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
